  • Thank you so much for your lovely playing, we enjoyed the music a great deal. I think I made an excellent choice with you, and your guiding of Annabel and Ben in their choice of music was excellent.

Corporate Events

I've played at lots of corporate events, including dining-in nights, product launches, Christmas parties and chill-out sessions!  The harp sets a wonderful tone and the music can be tailored to the theme.   Fees start at £200.

how far in advance do I need to book?

As soon as possible.  I can accept bookings up to three years in advance but I also play at events with just three days' notice!  You are always welcome to check availability.

what happens at a consultation?

  • You come to my house at a convenient date and time
  • I make you a nice cup of tea
  • We chat about your ideas, the theme of your wedding, music you love (including unusual requests!)
  • I listen, then make suggestions
  • I play you lots of really great music
  • We find just the right pieces for your day
  • I give you all the details in writing for you to show the registrar, vicar, celebrant ..

is it loud enough for my event?

Yes!  I've worked with amplification specialists Accusound to get the biggest, most natural and rich sound out of my harp at big events.  I'm able to play (and be heard perfectly though not obtrusively) at events of 400+ people, even if they're all talking, eating and drinking !

how do you transport the harp?

Carefully!  My pedal harp is 6' tall and weighs nearly six stone (35 kg).  It's essentially quite a fragile instrument - direct sunlight and draughts or sudden changes in temperature are very detrimental - so a lot of thought goes into its transportation and placing at an event.

I'm unable to play outside and if your event is being held in a marquee, we'll need to arrange suitable access.  Flights of stairs can also present a challenge, but I can discuss this with you at the time of booking.  I'm sure you appreciate how precious my harp is to me so I ask you to guarantee a parking space and safe unloading area.

how do I book?

Please email or call to chat through your requirements - I'll ask you for the date, time, venue and nature of your event, plus any special requests or requirements.

A deposit is required to secure the date and I'll send you a performance contract to check and sign, returning a copy to me.  The balance of fees is due 30 days before the event.

If you are booking for a wedding ceremony or civil partnership, I'll also arrange a consultation with you.
